Hulu released a full-length trailer Tuesday for the upcoming miniseries “Conversations with Friends.”The series follows Frances (played by Alison Oliver), a 21-year-old college student, as she navigates a series of relationships that force her to confront her own vulnerabilities for the first time. At the beginning of the trailer, Oliver’s Frances admits she thought she “maybe wasn’t capable of love.” “I thought there was something wrong with me,” she says. That is, until she lays eyes on Nick Conway (played by Joe Alwyn).

Musician Milner is Nicky Chaos, a charismatic activist and revolutionary with a group of followers who wage war against the 1%; Doke is Sewer Girl, who’s part of Nicky Chaos’ crew; Abtahi is Detective Ali Parsa, the workaholic detective assigned to Samantha’s case; Munroe is Detective PJ McFadden, a no-nonsense cop working the case alongside Detective Parsa, and Mitchell is Amory, an influential and ruthless executive in Manhattan.The Apple Studios murder mystery is based on the novel of the same name by Garth Risk Hallberg, and set in 2003 while police are also trying to catch a serial arsonist.Principal photography is underway in New York City.“City on Fire” is produced by Apple Studios for Apple TV+.

In today’s TV news roundup, Netflix debuted a trailer for “The Queen’s Gambit” and announced new cast members for the third season of “Sex Education.” Jemima Kirke, Jason Isaacs and Sudanese American artist Dua Saleh will join the cast of Netflix’s “Sex Education” in Season 3. Kirke will play former Moordale High School student and new headmaster Hope, who plans to return the school to its former glory.
