James Wan’s “Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom” is going to be the final film from the DCEU (DC Extended Cinematic Universe) and is expected to be the last outing for actor Jason Momoa as the titular superhero (reports suggest he may play the character Lobo somewhere in James Gunn’s DC Studios or directly in “Superman: Legacy”). As things wind down, there have been multiple reports and online rumors that pointed toward another haphazard DC production, leading to multiple cuts and extensive reshoots.

New Line’s The Nun II, one of the few bright spots at the fall box office rocked by the actors strikes, will hit Max on Oct. 27. That premiere date is after the pic’s 50-day theatrical window.

According to EW (via THR), Wan’s Atomic Monster banner will produce a live-action “Gargoyle” series for Disney+. Automatik, the production company behind “La La Land,” is merging with Range Media Players, TheWrap has confirmed. As part of the merger, Automatik executives Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger have been named partners and co-presidents of film and production at Range.
