The movie Saltburn is now in theaters and it features so many moments throughout the film that will leave you quite shocked that you’re even witnessing it on the big screen.

Charli XCX has written about her love of the “absolutely fabulous” screenplay for this year’s Saltburn, a film she sees as a “homage to the gay gothic genre”. The film’s script was written by its director Emerald Fennell, who had previously made Promising Young Woman.

Deadline’s Read the Screenplay series spotlighting the year’s most talked-about scripts continues with Sofia Coppola’s biopic Priscilla. Based on the 1985 memoir Elvis and Me co-authored by Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon, the script was adapted by Coppola who also directed.
