Marvel Studios released a new trailer for Secret Invasion during ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. The show starring Samuel L. Jackson is set to premiere on June 21 on Disney+. Check out the preview in the video posted above.

Just days ago, Jean Smart surprisingly revealed she had undergone a heart procedure. Days later, she won a SAG Award for her role in the HBO MAX comedy series "Hacks." Her co-stars offered insight into the 71-year-old's recovery, as she was not in attendance to accept her award. "We just love her and we're sending all our love to her and she's doing fantastic," actress Rose Abdoo told People magazine of Smart.

Jean Smart wasn’t able to attend the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday evening (February 26). However, that didn’t stop her from winning big during the ceremony.

HBO Max‘s “Hacks” has been paused as its star, Jean Smart, recovers from a “recent successful heart procedure.”The 71-year-old Emmy-winner addressed her surgery Thursday on Instagram, writing in a post, “February is American Heart Month – a time when the nation spotlights heart health, so it feels important to share with all of you that I am recovering from a recent successful heart procedure.“I am fortunate to have excellent care and support from family and friends while I continue to recuperate. Please listen to your body and talk to your doctor – I’m very glad I did!”Smart did not specify the type of heart procedure she underwent.

Freedman worked with clients including Gayle King, Barbara Walters, Joan Collins, Margo Martindale, Christopher McDonald and Harry Shearer. Prior to his career as a publicist, Freedman served as communications specialist to Sen. Ted Kennedy during his 1980 presidential campaign, which was followed by his campaign work for Sen. George McGovern in South Dakota and Reps. Jim Howard and Andy Maguire in New Jersey. Following his campaigning involvement, from 1984-1991 Freedman worked at NBC and served as a spokesman for the network’s programming. Freedman oversaw the network’s press operation for the U.S.-Russian Reykjavík and Geneva summits, the 1988 Seoul Olympics, the network’s presidential election coverage and managed media relations for NBC Nightly News, “Meet the Press” and the “Today” show.

Andrew Freedman, the news and entertainment publicist who ran the New York-based Andrew E. Freedman Public Relations for more than three decades, died on February 8 following a cancer diagnosis last year. He was 67.

Netflix is doing the same with “The Watcher,” a new creepy whodunnit limited series from producer Ryan Murphy, who is known for his mega-deal with the streamer and pumping out star-studded content like “The Prom,” The Politician,” “Hollywood,” and more recently the serial killer series, “Dahmer.” In terms of names, “The Watcher” isn’t very different: Murphy’s amassed an A-list cast which includes Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, Jennifer Coolidge, coming off “The White Lotus” success, Margo Martindale, Mia Farrow, Christopher McDonald, Richard Kind and more.

Willis, whose credits included the Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There for You,” better known as the “Friends” theme song, Earth Wind and Fire’s “September” (yesterday was the 21st) and a gaggle of disco-era hits, started the foundation to support the arts in underserved communities. She passed away from a cardiac event in 2019 at age 72. “She was a visual artist, performer, collector, party thrower extraordinaire with a whole amusement park full of kitsch-tastic colorful fashions,” Willis’ partner and the foundation’s CEO Prudence Fenton said. “Everything she did was all about making people happy. She lived to inspire others to express their own inner and outer creativity in every way. Creating art and music makes life worth living.”
