Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Perhaps you saw the gossip-site reports coming out of the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas last weekend: Allegedly, Chris Brown and Usher had gotten into some kind of tiff backstage during Missy Elliott’s set. The two singers went on to… Wait a minute. There was a Missy Elliott show? Stop the presses … this seemed like a case of burying the lead, as they say in news circles. Hip-hop fans knew what the real headlines should have been on that story: A unicorn had been sighted during a full solar eclipse, as Halley’s comet made a rare pass over Brigadoon — or other metaphors to that effect — if Elliott was being sighted back on a stage. Something slightly rarer still occurred Tuesday night in southern California’s Inland Empire: a stand-alone headlining show by Elliott. As one tweeter put it: “Why Yaamava’ Theatre?” — wondering, reasonably, why Elliott was following her festival appearance not with a full tour or, say, a night or two at the Hollywood Bowl, but a one-off gig at a 2,500-seat theater at a casino-resort at least an hour outside of L.A. in off-the-beaten-track Highland? The Vegas festival and subsequent casino concert are it, as far as what’s on Elliott’s public itinerary following the news of her impending Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. The last time she did anything like a standard tour was 13 years ago, and since then, Elliott might not have done much more than a dozen full sets, almost all of them at festivals, none in theaters. So no wonder the cheapest tickets on the day of the show for her SoCal appearance were going for $500-plus.

Chlöe Bailey has defended her recent single ‘How Does It Feel’, which features contributions from Chris Brown. The track, which appears on her new album ‘In Pieces’ was released in February to mixed reviews. In a three-star review of the album, NME said of the song: “Take ‘How Does It Feel’, a team-up with Chris Brown that simply treads water with a limp beat and smooth, straightforward harmonies.“Sonically, it’s unfulfilling, but it’s Chlöe’s collaboration with an artist that has a very public history of violence toward women that is a much greater cause for concern.”Speaking on on V-103 Atlanta’s The Big Tigger Morning Show on April 5, Chlöe said of the single: “I always just wanna let the music speak for itself.
Chlöe Bailey has responded to the backlash to her Chris Brown, stating that she feels she can't do right for doing wrong. Bailey included Brown on "How Does It Feel," a song lifted from her debut solo album In Pieces, released late last month.
receiving the lap dance from the singer during a UK date of his Under The Influence Tour. The TikTok video which has gone viral, seen by almost 22 million people, shows the woman sitting on a chair while Brown, 33, performs a lap dance to his hit song Take You Down. Her distraught boyfriend Dash shared the footage along with the description: “POV: Buying my girlfriend front row tickets to see Chris Brown … I want my £500 [$615 USD] and my girlfriend back.”In a more recent update he revealed he had broken up with his girlfriend over the encounter.“Just to update everyone regarding the Chris Brown concert, I’m no longer with my girlfriend,” he explained in text overlay added to the video, which shows an image of himself at the concert. He added that his girlfriend “doesn’t think what she did was wrong”.Social media users were divided on whether Dash’s girlfriend had crossed a line. One thought it was a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” but others supported his decision to break up with her.“I would leave the concert and wouldn’t even tell her,” one said harshly.Another said “deep down” the woman would know it wasn’t right.“Had it been the other way around …” the person added.
Chris Brown has caused a couple’s relationship to rupture.
Two weeks on since her victory against ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear in a revenge porn trial that gripped the nation, Georgia Harrison will once again bravely revisit her experience as part of a new documentary that will air on ITV tonight. The Love Island star dominated the headlines earlier this month, after her ex-boyfriend was sentenced to 21 months in prison at Chelmsford Crown Court after sharing on the website OnlyFans a CCTV video of them having sex in his garden in Loughton, Essex, on August 2, 2020.
The Daily Mail.During the scene, Bailey’s fictional sister comes to the door and watches what’s going on, when her boyfriend sees her, gives her a wink and continues to have sex with the actress.Online, many had concerns about the racy scene, especially coming off of the 24-year-old’s collaboration with Chris Brown last month, The pair recorded a song together called “How Does It Feel.”The Post reached out to Bailey’s rep for comment.“Where is a Chloe Bailey’s mentor pls???” one fan wrote on Twitter. “She’s been making terrible decisions lately, she should have never done that sex scene in Swarm and I’m not even gonna go into her most recent collab.”Another agreed, typing, “Something about Chloe Bailey’s sex scene makes me so uncomfortable like i don’t wanna see her in that light.”“The scene between Chloe Bailey and Damson Idris was very unnecessary.
Chris Brown has been criticised for inviting a Love Island star up onto the stage at one of his recent concerts and grabbing her by the throat. The singer, 33, has been performing across the globe over recent months on his Under The Influence world tour, with dates in UK cities such as London, Glasgow and Manchester. He performed three shows at Manchester's AO Arena recently, and during one concert he invited a female fan onto the stage as he sang hit track Take You Down - something he's been doing at most of his gigs on the tour.
