A bittersweet moment. Kelly Rizzo opened up about the emotional experience of watching the Emmys tribute to her late husband, Bob Saget.

Olivia Newton-John fans were not pleased  after she was left out of the «In Memoriam» segment at the 2022 Emmys on Monday night. Following the tribute -- which honored other actors who died this year, including Betty White, Bob Saget, Paul Sorvino, James Caan, Ray Liotta, Robert Morse, Louie Anderson, Sidney Poitier, and many more -- Twitter was flooded with disappointed viewers who called out the awards show for not honoring the late star who died in August at age 73.While Newton-John is listed on the «In Memoriam» page on the Emmys website, she was no where to be seen during the telecasted tribute which was played for the audience on a screenbehind John Legend, who performed his song, «Pieces.» The actress had a famed film and music career, but she also graced the small screen, with credits in dozens of TV shows, including S, ,  and and more.«She’s been on over fifty TV shows and specials.

Olivia Newton-John fans weren’t impressed on Monday after the 2022 Emmys left the actress out of its In Memoriam segment.

John Legend took the stage at the 2022 Emmy Awards to honor all the stars that are now gone. The In Memoriam segment was one of the highlights of the night with the EGOT winner performing his new song “Pieces.”

Anne Heche, who died last month, was one of several late beloved stars honored during the In Memoriam tribute at the 2022 Emmy Awards on Monday, September 12.

After he got out all the pertinent details, alongside David E Kelley, Dean Lorey and Brad Garrett, however, he changed course and reflected on the passing of his longtime friend Bob Saget, who died back in January. Apparently the two went to Disneyland together before he died, and the memory is something he still cherishes.

At the "Sixty Years of the Sounds of Summer" concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Stamos and The Beach Boys dedicated the song "Forever" to his former co-star as a video montage of Saget was displayed to the audience.  The 1970s classic "Forever" was performed several times on "Full House" by Stamos’ beloved character Uncle Jesse.

Bob Saget both touched several generations of fans thanks to their comedy work, the former notably in Golden Girls  and The Mary Tyler Moore Show and the latter in Full House. So, of course, when both comedy icons passed away earlier this year there was much mourning from the fans, who have then expected to see these icons during In Memoriam tributes. Only both Betty White and Bob Saget have already been passed over at awards ceremonies this year.

"Full House" star Dave Coulier is remembering his good pal and co-star, the late Bob Saget.  Saget died Jan. 9.The "Full House" alum's cause of death was head trauma, according to a statement from Saget's family and the Orange Country Medical Examiner's office.

Kelly Rizzo is sharing some insight into her life after her late husband, Bob Saget, died in January of this year. Taking to her Instagram Story, Rizzo shared her relationship status with Saget's daughters, Aubrey, Laura and Jennifer. Doing a Q&A on the social media platform, Rizzo was asked, «do you and bob's girls get along and still talk? He was the best.»Rizzo said, «I'd call it more than getting along, we love each other very, very much and talk or text every day.» She continued, «we're just so, so grateful to be as close as we are because that's not always the case with step-families.» Saget died on January 9 in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida.

Two Orange County, Florida sheriff's deputies were found guilty of disseminating information about Bob Saget's death before his wife, Kelly Rizzo, was able to get information on her husband's passing. ET obtained an internal investigation report from the Orange County Sheriff's office that details the spread of Saget's death from employees to social media before an official release was provided by the sheriff’s office’s public information officer.According to the report, deputies Emiliano Silva and Steven Reed violated the department’s dissemination of information directives by telling their friends and family members, who then posted the information on social media. Deputy Silva texted his brother that Bob Saget was dead. His brother then tweeted the information, saying, «RIP Bob Saget.»The Sheriff's communications department determined that this tweet was posted before Saget's family had been notified of his death, before the Sheriff's Office put out an official media release and before the homicide unit or medical examiner had even arrived on the scene.During this time, Kelly Rizzo was unable to receive any information from the hotel or police about Saget's condition and if he was alive or not.
