The biopic about the reggae legend could even double the six-day haul of Sony’s new superhero film “Madame Web,” which earned $4.3 millionfrom 4,013 theaters on Friday.

Paramount’s Bob Marley: One Love did $3.85M yesterday, and though down 73% from its opening day Wednesday, that’s because it was such a big first day with a record midweek of $14M. This puts the Reinaldo Marcus Green-directed biopic in the vicinity of a $35M-$38M six-day opening.

Katcy Stephan Ridley Scott is in talks to direct Paramount’s Bee Gees film. Scott will produce the currently-untitled film alongside Graham King for GK Films, Stacey Snider, and Michael Pruss for Scott Free. John Logan, who wrote Scott’s 2000 epic “Gladiator,” will pen the script.

Bob Marley: One Love, the long-awaited biopic about the reggae icon, has finally arrived in UK cinemas today (February 14), but which of the great artist’s songs are included in the film?
