Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker has announced she will be releasing two new solo albums next month.The albums, ‘songs’ and ‘instrumentals’, will be released together on October 23 through 4AD. Notably, ‘instrumentals’ only contains two tracks.In addition to the album announcement, Lenker has shared the first track off ‘songs’, titled ‘anything’.

Big Thief have shared a new collection of demos. Demos Vol. 1 - Topanga Canyon, CA - Feb 2018 features five songs, including three that have never been released and two that appeared on Adrianne Lenker’s 2018 album abysskiss. The sessions eventually led to the albums U.F.O.F. and Two Hands.

Prine, 73, is in a "critical condition" with coronavirus

Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker has shared a cover of John Prine’s “Summer’s End,” a track off the musician’s 2018 record The Tree of Forgiveness. Prine was recently hospitalized for COVID-19 symptoms and his family described his condition as “critical.” In the caption of her video, Lenker wrote, “I’m beyond grateful for the gift of his songs, sending love to his whole family.” Watch below.
