According to recent reports, he returned to Bellevue Hospital in New York after complaining of chest pains.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Former movie producer Harvey Weinstein was sentenced on Wednesday to 23 years in prison for sexual assault and rape after giving a rambling court statement sympathizing with men accused of sexual misconduct during the #MeToo era.

Harvey Weinstein is back in Bellevue Hospital just hours after he was sentenced to serve 23 years behind bars.

Harvey Weinstein has returned to New York's Bellevue Hospital due to chest pains following his sentencing to 23 years in prison on Wednesday. Rikers Island prison staff decided to send Weinstein back to Bellevue "for safety" and "he will be evaluated and likely will stay overnight," a spokesperson for Weinstein told The Hollywood Reporter.
