Tame Impala were the musical guests on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and, for their latest stop on U.S. late night television, they performed “Lost in Yesterday” and “Breathe Deeper” from their new album The Slow Rush. Watch it happen below.

Chuck D and Public Enemy Radio performed at Senator Bernie Sanders’ rally in Los Angeles last night, where they played classics like “Fight the Power,” “Can’t Truss It,” “Bring the Noise,” “Shut ’Em Down,” and more. Sarah Silverman and Dick Van Dyke were also present at the event.

David Byrne was the musical guest on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live, where he performed the Talking Heads classic “Once in a Lifetime” and his BPA collaboration “Toe Jam.” The episode was hosted by comic and former SNL writer John Mulaney. Jenny Lewis has dropped by NPR in Washington, D.C. for a “Tiny Desk Concert.” She performed “Rabbit Hole” and “Do Si Do” (from her latest On the Line), as well as “Just One of the Guys” (from The Voyager). Justin Bieber is the latest high-profile star to join Kanye West at one of his weekly Sunday Service gospel shows. Fresh off the release of his Purpose follow-up Changes, Bieber joined West and his Sunday Service choir to perform a rendition of Marvin Sapp’s “Never Would Have Made It,” the gospel song reinterpreted by Teyana Taylor on her 2018 record KTSE.

Bernie Sanders is making his way through the country for the rest of February, hosting rallies and speaking events in the hope of rallying as much support as he can in his bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Last night, he held a rally in Houston, Texas, in which he spoke to supporters and hosted guest speaker Marianne Williamson, who strongly endorsed Sanders’ bid.

Billie Eilish took the stage tonight at the 2020 Oscars to cover “Yesterday” for the “In Memoriam” segment. Eilish sang while her brother Finneas accompanied her on piano.

Billie Eilish had already inadvertently created an Oscar meme hours before she took the stage toward the end of the Academy Awards on Sunday night. Her nose-crinkling reaction to something — maybe to Maya Rudolph and Kirsten Wiig’s jokey song or, as some commenters speculated, “Why is the camera cutting to me now?” or “The universal face of a teen embarrassed by the antics of old people” — set the internets ablaze in the show’s first hour.

Cynthia Erivo graced the stage tonight at the 2020 Oscars to perform “Stand Up.” The song appeared in Harriet, and is nominated tonight for Best Original Song. Erivo is also nominated for Best Actress tonight for her portrayal of abolitionist Harriet Tubman. Erivo performed in a glittering, high-collared gown. Watch it all go down below.

Randy Newman was among the musicians to perform at the 2020 Oscars tonight. Newman performed his Toy Story 4 song “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away” at a grand piano. The track is nominated tonight for Best Original Song. Watch Newman’s performance below.

Tonight at the 2020 Oscars, Elton John took the stage to perform his new original song from the biopic Rocketman. John’s performance of “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” featured back-up singers, a red grand piano, and a jumbo pair of star-shaped sunglasses. Watch it all go down below.

Justin Bieber was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live. He first did a two-part rendition of “Yummy.” For the beginning of the song, Bieber was accompanied by a double bassist, a cellist, and an acoustic guitarist. After a minute or so, the backing track kicked in and Bieber sang and danced, joined, too, by backup dancers. Later in the episode, Bieber performed “Intentions” with Quavo. Watch below.

Justin Bieber livened up his two latest singles, “Yummy” and “Intentions,” by performing them on “Saturday Night Live” last night. During the performances he was joined at various points by an acoustic quartet, four lithe dancers and Migos rapper Quavo.
