Like many things during the cost of living crisis, broadband bills are creeping up, but one deal is offering you money off upon signing up.
The best broadband plan is a balance between the right speed and price for your household. If you're looking to change over, Virgin Media is offering a £75 in bill credit if you pick one of its contracts.
The offer comes via the Virgin Media M250 broadband plan, which costs £36 a month on an 18-month contract. Doing the maths, that means anyone signing up will effectively get their first two months free - not too shabby.
With download speeds of 264Mbps, the cash offer comes just as many households will be tightening up their budgets. Notably, the M250 bundle is one of the cheapest plans on offer from Virgin Media, reports the Mirror.
At a cheaper price and slower speed is the £29 a month M125 Fibre broadband tariff. The plan offers the same staples as the cheapest plan but steps up its game when it comes to speed - ideal for any home workers out there.
The nature of these deals is that they may go away at any moment, so if you're keen about an offer it's best to sign up soon. As it stands, the M250 plan is the only one offering money back, with other Fibre broadband plans - M125, M350, M500 and Gig1 - are excluded from the deal.
If you're not sold, it's handy to keep an eye on the Virgin Media as it's known for launching freebies. Just last week shoppers at Virgin Media could claim £250 in bill credit when signing up for a TV plan.
Over at Sky, their rivals have also launched a big price cut on its M100 Fibre broadband plan that slashes £9.50 off its monthly price for a saving of £171. The plan offers slower download speeds than the Virgin M250 plan, but its price tag is a bit less from

Clayton Davis Senior Awards Editor Just 30 minutes after final voting for the Screen Actors Guild Awards wrapped up, I made a last-minute switch in my best actress prediction — from Lily Gladstone in “Killers of the Flower Moon” to Emma Stone in “Poor Things.” Let this be a lesson: Second-guessing yourself is seldom a good idea. Lily Gladstone made history as the first Native American and Indigenous person to clinch an individual SAG Award for her portrayal of Mollie Burkhart, an Osage woman, in Martin Scorsese’s gripping crime saga.
