A video has emerged of a man being battered in a field with his attacker demanding to know ‘who is the best’ after a violent gang family feud erupted.
The notorious McPhee crime family are understood to be at war with rival clan the Williamson’s, which has sparked a series of worrying incidents in the Airdrie area.
The shocking footage, obtained by the Daily Record, shows a group of men arriving at the scene in two vehicles, before walking towards a metal gate which the ‘fighters’ are standing behind.
A man wearing a blue top and orange shorts is then filmed raining down punches and kicks on his ‘victim’, who lies sprawled on the wet ground. At one point, blood can be seen smeared across the man’s face as he repeatedly begs his attacker to stop.
A man, speaking from off camera, is heard telling no one else to get involved. He said: “Fair fight boys. Fair fight. Stand back boys, it’s a fair fight. Naebody gets involved.”
The attacker, who takes his top off during the brawl, then says: “Do you give in? Who is the best? Who’s the best mongo? You said Williamson’s are the best? Who’s the best? What name’s best?”
The beating only stops once the man on the ground, who is understood to be a member of the Williamson family, says “You’re the best. Stop. McPhee’s the best. You’ve won. Stop.”
The man off camera then calls time on the brawl, stating: “That’s it. Give in now. That’s it. job done, it’s over, forget it.”
A second clip has also emerged from the same location showing a large group of men attacking a red truck with baseball bats and poles. One man is also seen kicking the motor while one of the fighting men runs round the back of the truck.
