Lollipops are being recalled due to concerns over the sharpness of their sticks.
Customers have been warned that the lollipop sticks in Candy Stars Lollipops contain a sharp end that could cause injury. Bumerang Ltd is urging anyone who has bought the lollipops in apple, orange, strawberry or assorted fruit flavours not to eat them.
In a warning to customers issued today (Monday), they said: "Check if you have bought the affected batch code(s) 816123/ best before 15/12/2024 of the Candy Stars Lollipop.

"You can do this by taking a picture of this notice or writing down the batch code(s) 816123 /best before by date(s) for reference at home.
"Return the product(s) to the store for a full refund (with or without a receipt)."
Point of sale notices will also be displayed in all retail stores that are selling Candy Stars Lollipops.
