Watch tensions rise in Carmy’s kitchen in the trailer for ‘The Bear’ season three

The Bear is out, with Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri’s characters clashing in the heat of the kitchen – watch below. The show, which stars White as an award-winning chef who returns to manage his late brother’s chaotic sandwich shop in Chicago, has been a huge commercial and critical success in its first two seasons, winning 10 Emmys and four Golden Globes. All 10 of the new episodes are set to premiere on FX and Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK on June 27, after FX officially renewed the show for a third season in November last year, just months after the second season dropped. As the trailer shows, the season will pick up at a point where White’s Carmy has opened the reimagined restaurant, now named ‘The Bear’, with several questions about his love life and family problems remaining unanswered from the climax of season two.Edebiri’s Sidney has risen through the ranks in Carmy’s kitchen, and in the trailer, she exclaims, “This is a dysfunctional kitchen,” to which Carmy and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), the restaurant’s manager, reply in unison: “Show me a functional one!”Speaking about the new season, Nick Grad, president at FX Entertainment, has said: “The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon. We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.Who wants another round? ‘The Bear’ Trailer: The Dysfunctional Kitchen Drama Returns For Season 3 On June 27

It’s nutty to think just how fast FX’s dysfunctional kitchen drama “The Bear” ascended and how quickly it might just be gone. Premiering on Hulu in the summer of 2022, “The Bear” literally seemingly came out of nowhere, wasn’t anticipated or known about, and wasn’t exactly heavily promoted in advance.

Paolo Sorrentino on Making His First ‘Feminine Epic’ With Cannes Film ‘Parthenope’ and Directing Gary Oldman: He’s ‘One of the Top Five Actors in the World’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Nick Vivarelli International Correspondent Paolo Sorrentino is back in Cannes for the seventh time with “Parthenope,” a love letter to his native Naples but also, as he puts it, a film about his “missed youth” that comes as a natural follow-up to his autobiographical “The Hand of God.” Perhaps more significantly, “Parthenope” – an epic spanning several decades – is Sorrentino’s first female-centric film. Why? “In thinking of a modern hero, it came naturally to me that it would be a heroine, not a man,” he tells Variety. Let’s start with the film’s titular protagonist, Parthenope. Of course, Neapolitans in Italy are also known as “Parthenopeans.” My impression is that, after returning from Rome to Naples to make “The Hand of God,’ your native city drew you further back into its fold. It’s a bit more complex, actually, not necessarily just linked to Naples.

From his early stints as a cab driver and journalist, to a minister of culture post in his native Haiti, to teaching, to founding his Velvet Film production shingle to his breakthrough when he earned an Oscar nomination as producer/director with the James Baldwin doc, “I Am Not Your Negro,” the common denominator is Peck’s drive to make life better through his work.

Made In India: The World’s Biggest Film Industry Hasn’t Had A Film In The Cannes Competition Since 1994 … Until Now

The first iteration of the Cannes Film Festival, planned for 1939, was scuppered when Germany invaded Poland to trigger the start of World War II. But when the festival finally got off the ground in 1946, Indian cinema came out swinging. Mounted shortly after the conclusion of the war, the first “real” Cannes Film Festival featured competition entries from Billy Wilder (The Lost Weekend), Roberto Rossellini (Open City), and David Lean (Brief Encounter). In the spirit of post-war peace and reconciliation, the competition jury, headed by French historian Georges Huisman, handed the top prize — then the Grand Prix — to films from 11 of the 18 countries represented that year.
