Jordan Moreau Ahead of the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, many journalists and critics have voiced their concerns on Twitter about issues with the TIFF media website and problems securing advance tickets. When some journalists logged onto the TIFF website to get their tickets, they were met with an error message saying “Events are currently off-sale.” When they tried calling the customer service line, others reported being on hold for upwards of two hours, with no success. On Tuesday, less than 48 hours before TIFF kicked off on Sept. 8, the festival sent a message to attendees about the ticketing issues:
