Amanda Kloots has tested positive for COVID-19 and she has a hopeful outlook, two years after her late husband Nick Cordero battled the illness.
The 39-year-old The Talk co-host took to Instagram to inform fans that she received positive test results after taking a trip to Mexico.

“My @thetalkcbs family! Unfortunately I tested positive for COVID and will be missing some days at work until my quarantine is over,” Amanda said.
She continued, “I am feeling completely normal now and feel very grateful for that. I am vaccinated and boosted which is very much putting me at ease. I recently got back from a trip to Mexico where I tested negative before I left and before I flew home so this was surprise this morning.”
“This is the first time I’ve tested positive since the pandemic,” Amanda said. “I will hopefully be back to work soon but taking this time at home with Elvis to start potty training!!!! Wish me luck as I run after a naked toddler for the next three days.”
Nick passed away in July 2020 from COVID-related complications. She joined the cast of The Talk in January 2021.
In a recent interview, Amanda opened up about feeling ready to date more in 2022.
