The Mercury Prize set to unveil Album Of The Year Shortlist this week

Katie Price has reportedly found herself in hot water with her ex husband Kieran Hayler over a video she shared of their daughter Bunny online. A representative for Kieran reportedly said "alarm bells" rang when he watched the video, which has since been deleted by the former glamour model. The three-minute video showed eight-year-old Bunny eating a lollipop.

After touring that album, guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López announced that the band had gone on hiatus while, at the beginning of 2013, vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala said that they had broken up.Both Rodríguez-López and Bixler-Zavala have been hinting at a reunion for several years now, but it wasn’t until June this year that they revealed new music – initially as part of an art installation that appeared in Grand Park in Los Angeles, where they unveiled a portion of their first reunion single ‘Blacklight Shine’.A second single, ‘Graveyard Love’, followed, and now with the announcement of the album – to be titled ‘The Mars Volta’ – comes a third, ‘Vigil’.

GOT7 member Jackson Wang debuted a few tracks from his forthcoming ‘Magic Man’ album at a recent performance in the Philippines.On July 29, Wang made an appearance at the 2022 K-pop Masterz in Manila show held at the Mall of Asia Arena alongside GOT7 bandmate BamBam and boyband TREASURE. Mercury Prize have been sharing their excitement over being shortlisted for the prestigious award.This morning (July 26), the Mercury Prize – in partnership with mobility app FREE NOW – confirmed that Harry Styles‘ ‘Harry’s House’, Little Simz‘ ‘Sometimes I Might be Introvert’, Sam Fender‘s ‘Seventeen Going Under’, Wet Leg‘s self-titled LP and Yard Act‘s ‘The Overload’ are among the 12 records in the running for the annual Album Of The Year statue.The rest of the list is made up of Self Esteem (‘Prioritise Pleasure’), Joy Crookes (‘Skin’), Kojey Radical (‘Reason To Smile’), Nova Twins (‘Supernova’), Fergus McCreadie (‘Forest Floor’), Gwenno (‘Tresor’) and Jessie Buckley & Bernard Butler (‘For All Our Days That Tear The Heart’).The winner will be announced during an event at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on September 8.Reacting to the nod on Twitter, Wet Leg – aka Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers – wrote: “We’re so freakin lucky that we got to make the album that we made.
