HBO has released the first two images from The Last of Us season two!
The photos are of Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. They are both returning for season two in the roles they originated in season one.
So far, there’s no release date for the series, but many believe it will be released sometime in 2025. The story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.

Wright will appear in the role of Isaac, whom he previously played in “The Last Us Part II” video game. The character is described as “the quietly powerful leader of a large militia group who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy.” Wright will appear in the series alongside returning series leads Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, and Rutina Wesley.

Alex Ritman “The Last of Us” star Bella Ramsey will take on the role of one of the U.K.’s most mysterious and infamous modern day figures in “Girl Next Door” from writer/director Bruce Goodison (“Leave to Remain”). The film — which Celsius Entertainment has acquired world sales rights to and will launch in Cannes — is set to tell the story of Samantha Lewthwaite, who became known as British terrorist ‘The White Widow’ and one of the world’s most wanted women. As per the plot details, “Girl Next Door” centres on Lewthwaite (Ramsey), who fell in love with Islam long before being Muslim was politicised and militarised and became known as ‘The White Widow’.
