A producer on The Big Bang Theory has revealed that the show had planned to continue for another two years before its star Jim Parsons quit.
Parsons, who played Sheldon Cooper in the long-running show, quit last year, with the show coming to an end in May 2019 after 12 seasons.

Two peas in a pod! Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper share everything from identical initials to similar professions, which makes it easy to see why the twosome are best friend goals.
It's been a little over a year since aired its final episode, so the writers recently scheduled a little get-together to mark the anniversary. In a normal world, they might have gathered at a nearby pub next to the Warner Bros.
Anderson Cooper, 52, could no longer stay silent as Donald Trump, 73, continues to suggest former Florida congressman Joe Scarborough was involved in the death of his former aide in 2001. Trump’s insistence to barrage the MSNBC host of Morning Joe with accusations over Lori Klausutis‘ death, which was ruled an “accident” by the medical examiner, has even prompted Lori’s widower Timothy Klausutis to pen a letter “begging Twitter to delete” Trump’s tweets about Joe.
The nerds of The Big Bang Theory love sci-fi and fantasy, and since Game of Thrones is the biggest fantasy TV series of all time, naturally, they're into it. They talk about it all the time, as you can see in the video above. They even ended in the same week last year. And now that both shows are coming to the same streaming service, HBO Max, they will finally live together, as they were destined to do.
Fans of “The Big Bang Theory” almost got two more seasons.
