A terminally ill man from Salford has received ‘over a thousand’ birthday cards from people all across the world – but his mum is encouraging people to keep sending them.
Reece Winnard, who will be 24 on April 15, is living with a rare, terminal, muscle-wasting disease.
Called Duchenne muscular dystrophy, it means that over time, mutations in the genes in his muscles weaken their ability to function.
