Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden 'sick' as she receives message from BBC

Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has opened up about her struggles with chemotherapy and how it's making her feel.
The professional dancer was diagnosed with cancer for the second time this year, after undergoing a double mastectomy back in June.
And now the 32-year-old Welsh pro has given fans a raw and vulnerable health update on social media, describing how the chemotherapy treatment is affecting her ability to sleep and eat, Yorkshire Live reports.
Posting to her Instagram story on Saturday, August 5, she wrote: "So many asking how I'm doing thanks so much! Was sick Thursday evening and just felt weird. My whole body felt like it never did before.
"Yesterday then throughout the day I started to pick up! Managed two walks and some homemade soup. Didn't fancy eating and had no taste but I pushed myself and felt better for it.
"Couldn't sleep but know from many of my fellow pink sisters this can be from the meds so I've been up since 5 and I'm feeling good so far and have a cuppa and a banana (kept both down so far).
"Feeling very lucky to be feeling so well! I know it gets tougher each cycle but these days you must note and celebrate (for me anyway) everyone's journey and the way they respond to treatment is very different.
"And I'm sending love and strength to all going through every treatment, battle, you name it! I've got Lenny (the dog) snuggling up to me watching a film and got a little smile on my face today.
"Thanks for all the love and support. Welsh love Amy xxxx".
A few hours later, Amy was delighted to receive a thoughtful care package from the BBC and her fellow Strictly stars.
