season 4 is here. And it promises to deliver a satisfying -- if not deadly -- end to the biggest, most watched installment of the Netflix original series from the Duffer Brothers. With Vecna showing no signs of slowing down, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) struggling to regain her powers and the gang split between Hawkins, Indiana and California, things are not looking good as our favorite high school heroes prepare for the battle of their lives. And based on comments from the cast, notably Joseph Quinn, who joined this season with the breakout role as Eddie Munson, not everyone will make it out alive.
Stranger Things villain Vecna was inspired by the Night King in Game Of Thrones, the Netflix show’s makeup designer has revealed.BAFTA-winning designer Barrie Gower explained to Digital Spy that Matt and Ross Duffer had looked to the villainous character from the HBO show for inspiration.“Their brief, really – they were fans of our work from Game Of Thrones, and the character we did, the Night King. And they were also fans of recent work we’d done for Chernobyl for HBO as well, with all the radiation-burn victims,” Gower explained.“For season four they were after an iconic villain, and I think they almost wanted a mix of those two approaches.

He would start sitting down, and we’d stand him up.

“Stranger Things” creators, the Duffer Brothers, recently revealed their hit Netflix series wasn’t originally planned to go beyond one season. Four seasons later, and a fourth season cut into two parts, perhaps some of the cast is getting a little impatient too and perhaps thinks the cast has gotten too sprawling.
elementary shooting in Uvalde, Texas, Netflix acknowledged the opening scene to “Stranger Things” Friday-released fourth season may be painful for many fans of the show to watch. The streaming service has added a warning screen for US viewers ahead of “Chapter One: The Hellfire Club” because it graphically shows the bloodied bodies of dead children early into the first episode.“We filmed this season of ‘Stranger Things’ a year ago. Aries prefers to blaze a trail rather than follow a path, a route preference exhibited by Mike Wheeler who looks like a young Tommy Lee and doesn’t hesitate to run head long and heart first into danger. A natural leader, Mike is brave to the point of recklessness but he makes others, most notably Eleven, feel safe and seen. A fire sign, Aries favors action over contemplation and won’t back down from a fight even, and especially when they are outnumbered and or outgunned.

season 4 introduces a number of new characters, with Joseph Quinn and Eduardo Franco being among the newcomers to the cast. The two rising stars join the hit Netflix series as Eddie Munson and Argyle, respectively. “I’m new to this show and at the same time, Argyle’s character is new to their crazy a** lives,” Franco tells ET’s Will Marfuggi. Most famous for his roles on and, the 27-year-old actor plays Jonathan’s (Charlie Heaton) new best friend who delivers pizzas for Surfer Boy Pizza in California, where the Byers family has moved to after leaving Hawkins, Indiana, at the end of season 3. A typical stoner-type character, Argyle finds himself unexpectedly sucked into the chaos that finds Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan.
