Stan Kirsch, 'Highlander' TV Star, Dead at 51

GÖTEBORG, Sweden —  Norway’s Stian Kristiansen (“Homeground”, “The Man Who Loved Yngve”) has signed on to direct “Doppler” for long-time production partners at Motlys (“Louder than Bombs”, Homeground”).

Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, sadly lost their lives to “blunt trauma,” the Los Angeles County coroner’s office announced on Jan. 29. That was the same official cause of death listed for the seven other people on-board Kobe’s S-76B helicopter that crashed near Calabasas, CA on Jan. 26, according to the coroner’s office. The manner of these sudden and tragic deaths were certified as an “accident.”

Update, 5:41 p.m.: The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed in a press conference that nine people—eight passengers and one pilot—were on board the helicopter. There were no survivors. While various outlets have confirmed that Bryant and his daughter were among the victims, the sheriff stated he would not confirm until the coroner does his job.
