Sobbing Jeff Brazier comforted by EastEnders actress after son Bobby scoops NTA

Television presenter Jeff Brazier was left in tears following his son's emotional speech after scooping a gong at the National Television Awards. Bobby Brazier was awarded the Rising Star prize at the ceremony at London's O2 arena on Tuesday night thanks to the public vote.
Dad Jeff, 44, was comforted by Bobby's EastEnders colleague Molly Rainford as his BBC soap star son made a touching tribute to his dad following his win. Bobby, 20, has impressed with his role as Freddie Slater and certainly made his family proud.
Making his speech, a tearful Bobby said: "This actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my dad. Over the course of the last twenty years, I have consistently heard him say 'because I can'. It was a mantra or a motto of his, and him just saying that it's... Because I can!"
Viewers at home gushed over their sweet relationship as one said: "Oh Jeff. So proud of Bobby." Another added: "Bobby Brazier is such a charming young guy & deserves all the success in the world. Jeff is such a great dad too,"
