A homeowner was left stunned after a strange woman was taking a late-night dip in his hot tub.
Bizarre CCTV footage from the man's home shows an unknown female sneaking into his back garden in Troon in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The woman can be seen standing beside the hot tub and appears to be contemplating how to get inside before she clambers into the water.
After an unsuccessful attempt, she tries to dip one leg into the outdoor whirlpool before climbing back out.
Later she is seen standing in the garden with her hands on her hips as she looks around.
The woman spent 40 minutes in the family's garden before wandering off - but was later tracked down after leaving her phone and a pair of shorts behind.
The puzzled homeowner, who slept through the ruckus, reckoned the woman was simply looking to cool down during the country's heatwave.
The resident told The Record he was shocked when he woke up and spotted the woman's antics on his security camera.
He said: "I couldn't believe it when I spotted her on the camera.
"She walked up the driveway just after midnight on Sunday morning.
"Then she spent around 40 minutes in the garden."
The video was shared on social media in a bid to track down the unknown dipper and reunite her with her belongings.
But neighbours later got in touch to say the same woman had also wandered into their gardens.
One neighbour, who also shared footage of the woman walking down their driveway, claimed she had been caught on his home camera several times.
They said: "I caught her floating about mine several times between midnight and 5am."
Another shared Ring doorbell camera footage and said: "She was also at my front door and she was at my friend's down the street."
A third person said: "I think
