Rylan Clark has spoken out on rumours of a romance between himself and Rob Rinder after he was left concerned. The pair were all smiles as they hit the red carpet together over the weekend at the BAFTA Television Awards 2024, at the same time they appeared on screen together.
Rylan and Rob have become firm pals over the years and now fans are getting to see the dynamics of their friendship in their new, and first, TV show together. Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour began on BBC 2 on Sunday evening (May 12).
The three-part series sees the pair team up for an epic tour across Italy in which they follow in the footsteps of romance poet Lord Byron, on the 200th anniversary of his death, and other aristocrats who embarked on the Grand Tour and see the duo enjoy all the art and culture that Italy is so famed for.

Ahead of the first episode airing, Rob, known as TV judge Judge Rinder, shared a cryptic message in reply to Rylan promoting the show. Rylan wrote: "Tonight out new show starts at 9pm on BBC Two and iPlayer. It was so special. This man has become family to me because of this experience. It really is a show like no other and we're so proud of it. Hope you enjoy x."
The TV judge and Good Morning Britain presenter replied: "'Friendship may and often does, grow into love.' Byron." And following the first episode, Rylan appeared taken aback by the feedback as he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and said: "Wow , we never expected this reaction to the show. Thank you so much for the love. It’s so welcome."
