Royal phone call for Monklands Hospital staff during Covid-19 pandemic

This Morning viewers were left in tears after a grandmother called in to reveal the struggles she was facing in lockdown. Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were on hand to give advice alongside agony aunt Deidre Sanders when the caller admitted she was struggling to cope in lockdown.The caller, named Michelle, explained that she was self-isolating at home for 12 weeks because of underlying health issues and was struggling without her grandchildren as she lives alone.

ABC’s one remaining daytime soap opera is General Hospital, and over the years the venerable show has introduced some of the sexiest stars in soaps. Many of the hot male actors have stayed with the show, while others have gone on to bigger things on prime time TV.  Occasionally, they’ll even hop to different network soaps.

This Morning presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes threatened to call the police as a terrified domestic abuse victim revealed she was fearing for her life in lockdown. With research finding that domestic abuse killings have more than doubled during the coronavirus lockdown, the show hosted a phone-in for anyone experiencing domestic abuse and violence to seek advice.

Generous staff at Monklands Hospital donated more than 100 kilograms of food plus a huge batch of Easter eggs to Airdrie foodbank.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared a heartwarming message to the NHS staff and all those battling coronavirus on the frontline. Taking to their Instagram channel Kensington Palace, Prince William, 37, and 38 year old Kate Middleton posted a montage clip of health workers from Queen's Hospital Burton listening to a phone call from Their Royal Highnesses.

Prince Charles was tested positive for Coronavirus last week. The Prince of Wales showcased mild symptoms of the Covid-19 virus before he entered a week's self-isolation.
