Prince William will soon be seeing his face in silver. The Royal Mint announced Monday that the Duke of Cambridge is being commemorated with a special £5 coin in the U.K. in honor of his 40th birthday!The design, which was shared on Twitter, shows William in a three-quarter profile gazing up to the top right of the coin, with the number 40 to his left and his royal cipher «W» to his right.The special announcement comes just weeks ahead of William's milestone birthday on June 21.

Prince William has unveiled a new memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, paying tribute to the Royal Navy's submariners and their families.The Duke of Cambridge commended their "continued resilience" at the ceremony on Wednesday. Tuesday 10 May marked the State Opening of Parliament and only the third time since her coronation that the Queen wasn’t in attendance. Previously Her Majesty, 96, missed State Openings in 1959 when she was pregnant with Prince Andrew, and in 1963 when she was pregnant with Prince Edward.This year, however, the Queen was represented by Prince Charles, with Prince William also in attendance.
