Rachel Stevens has said she's 'having to learn to skate' all over again in preparation for her Dancing On Ice debut on Saturday. Speaking on This Morning on Friday, the S Club star, 43, revealed she was 'nervous' watching last week's show despite being sat on the sidelines. Appearing alongside her partner Brendyn Hadfield, 36, she said: 'It's been eventful, we have been training off ice, on Monday we were back on the ice.
'I was so nervous even though I wasn't skating watching the last show. There was such frustration of not being on the ice, going back on Monday and learning the routine has been a lot. I am learning how to skate again.
'Brendyn added: 'We had moments that were tough but we communicate and we do it again. Being away from the ice changes how you feel. Mentally we are in a good spot now though.
'On her previous ice experience, Rachel explained: 'I'm a total novice. I'm not a trained dancer, I did Strictly which is similar but with the ice its totally different. It's such a fine line.
I don't want to fall. 'But Brendyn praised Rachel, adding: 'She carries herself so elegantly. We start with just steps and then we go into hold and then throw her up in the air.
'Despite her nerves Rachel admitted: 'I'm loving it, when its right it feels so amazing, they make it look so effortless the pros. My brain goes to do it and body just can't. 'The pair will be dancing to a track from Moulin Rouge by Patti LaBelle this Saturday.
