Key members of the royal family, including the Queen, delighted crowds on Sunday, as they made an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, following the Platinum Jubilee Pageant. Their appearance marked the end of four days of celebrations in honour of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, and her incredible 70 years on the British throne. The senior royals who appeared on the balcony included four generations of monarchs - the 96 year old Queen and the heirs to the throne, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George.

This Morning's royal correspondent Camilla Tominey has revealed Kate Middleton and Prince William's children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis got involved in events at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at the "last minute".The British broadcaster explained how the children's involvement was only decided "last minute" with the Cambridges worried that one of their youngsters may have a "wobbly"– but they "loved every second". It was a similar last minute decision ahead of the family's visit to Cardiff Castle on Saturday 4 June.

A family affair. Prince William and Kate Middleton won’t be attending Prince Harry’s daughter’s Lilibet first birthday celebrations. Lilibet will be celebrating her first birthday away from her home state of California and in her dad’s home country of England.
