Prince Harry has shared rare insight into his children Archie, two, and seven month old Lilibet's routine at home in their California mansion. The Duke of Sussex, 37, who is "laying low" as he "doesn't want to cause anymore upset" according to an expert, appeared in a live stream with close pal Serena Williams and the founder of mental health start up BetterUp, Alexi Robichaux, on Thursday 3 February to talk about "mental fitness". During their discussions, Harry shared how he has previously "experienced burnout" and feels he must meditate every day now.
Opening up on the topic of "self care", Harry shared some private knowledge on his family's routine, including his baby daughter's naps and his son Archie having started school already. He told the tennis star and start up founder: "Even if you do have 15 minutes slate of white space, I now put in about half an hour or 45 minutes in the morning when I'm like, 'okay, one of the kids has gone to school, the other one is taking a nap' there's a break in our programme." Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, 40, moved to the US with Archie back in April 2020, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The pair later welcomed their second child Lilibet, whose name is a tribute to Her Majesty the Queen, in June the following year. But with their US lifestyles, it means that Archie and Lilibet are yet to meet their cousins in the UK.
