Prince Harry and Prince William are currently not on speaking terms with the chances of a reconciliation between the two feuding princes said to be rock bottom.
However, the brothers did apparently attempt to iron out any issues between them while Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were still in the Firm before their relationship reached breaking point
According to the book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, a heart-to-heart meeting was planned between the Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales but ended up not taking place after Harry rejected William with a blunt two words.
The 39-year-old first hinted at a fall out between him and the future King during a 2019 interview while he was on a royal tour with Meghan in South Africa, the Mirror reports.
He famously told ITV's Tom Bradby that he and the duchess were "struggling" with some of the pressures of life as working royals with a bombshell moment revealing that he and William's sibling bond had it's "good days" and "bad days".
His comments came just months before he and Meghan decided to quit the Royal Family in January 2020 and relocate to the US for a new life.
According to the book's author Valentine Low, the heir had tried to reach out to his younger brother after the interview aired.
The duke had initially been open to the offer but ended up turning it down after he grew concerned that news of their meeting would be leaked by royal staff.
