A BBC drama about paedophile Jimmy Savile has triggered a massive backlash on social media. The UK’s national broadcaster has come under fire because it was where Savile worked for decades but was never exposed for his disturbing behaviour.
The news broke over the weekend that Steve Coogan would play Savile in a new drama called The Reckoning.
It will apparently look at how the ‘Jim’ll Fix It presenter was able to be a sexual predator for decades without being stopped.
