We've just got over our excitement from Outlander episode 5 and already the showrunners are wetting our excitement for episode 6 with another incredible preview.
While 'Give Me Liberty' saw most of the action take place away from the Ridge in Wilmington, it seems that 'The World Turned Upside Down' will bring us back with a bang.
The 30-second trailer shows Claire and Jamie back at home speaking with Roger and Bree when a missing couple known as the McNeills are discovered dead in their home.
When Claire investigates with Malva, Marsali and Lizzie, she falls sick herself, with Jamie commenting: "You look a bit like a ghost, Sassenach."
He can only watch on with dismay as she collapses into his arms.
Poor Jamie is then seen praying by her bedside before a very cunning looking Malva seemingly makes a move.
The episode is sure to be another big hitter in what's been a fairly dramatic season already.
And that's not all according to the synopsis, it's worse than it looks.
It reads: "A dysentery epidemic spreads on the Ridge, and Claire falls deathly ill; she is almost recovered when the Christies arrive and drop a bombshell; as nefarious rumors [sic] spread like wildfire on the Ridge, tragedy strikes."
Colour us intrigued, we also wonder if the coming war will continue to make its presence felt? And will the mysterious whistling thief make an appearance?
There's a lot to mull over and with only three episodes left including this one, it's sure to be a strong finish, let's hope all of our favourites survive!
