Confidence Man‘s Janet Planet has confirmed to NME that Noel Gallagher and U2‘s The Edge will appear on the Aussie duo’s new album.Back in 2019, Gallagher told BBC Radio 1 how he had attended a party with The Edge and Confidence Man, which ended with him arguing with the duo’s neighbour on their behalf after complaints were made about the level of noise coming from the party.A rumour had also been swirling that The Edge had contributed tambourine on the band’s new album ‘TILT’, due out April 1 via Heavenly, and Planet was asked by NME in a new interview whether there was any truth in it.“Noel and The Edge are actually both hidden on the record somewhere,” she responded, adding: “I’m not supposed to talk about it. The Killers have announced details of the expanded, deluxe edition of their 2021 album ‘Pressure Machine’.The follow-up to 2020’s ‘Imploding The Mirage’ originally arrived back in August, charting at Number One in the UK in its first week.The Killers will now release a new edition of ‘Pressure Machine’ on March 25 via EMI, which will feature newly-realised and reimagined versions of select songs from the album that were co-produced by the band with Shawn Everett and Foxygen‘s Jonathan Rado.Such tracks as ‘West Hills’, ‘Runaway Horses’ (which was originally a collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers) and ‘The Getting By’ will be reworked for the new release.The Killers have also announced that on Monday (March 21) they will debut Notes From A Quiet Town, a new live film that will air exclusively on Facebook. Keith Richards reunited with his old band the X-Pensive Winos at a show in New York last week – check out the footage below.The Rolling Stones guitarist assembled the group back in 1986 for his performance in the Chuck Berry concert film Hail! Hail! Rock ‘N’ Roll, which came out the following year.They contributed to Richards’ debut solo album ‘Talk Is Cheap’ (1988) and its follow-up ‘Main Offender’ (1992), as well as touring with the musician. The X-Pensive Winos also appear on his 2015 third LP, ‘Crosseyed Heart’, and played one live show that year.The original X-Pensive Winos line-up consisted of guitarist Waddy Wachtel, keyboardist Ivan Neville, bassist Charlie Drayton, saxophonist Bobby Keys and drummer Steve Jordan – the latter of whom is now a permanent touring member of The Rolling Stones’ following the death of Charlie Watts last summer.As Stereogum reports, Richards and the X-Pensive Winos played a three-track set together at the Love Rocks benefit show at NYC’s Beacon Theatre last Thursday (March 10).

The nine-piece band played four songs from the recently released ‘Impera’ starting with a thundering ‘Kaisarion‘.They then played lead single ‘Call Me Little Sunshine’ followed by their contribution to Halloween Kills soundtrack, ‘Hunter’s Moon‘.The blistering set was then finished with a keyboard-led rendition of ‘Spillways’.
