Another show axed…but a few more renewed! Netflix cancelled two major TV shows last week, and just renewed two more in the past two days!

Sweet Magnolias will be back for a third go-round. Netflix has renewed the romance drama series for a third season, with stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley set to reprise their roles.

Season 2 of “Sweet Magnolias” dropped Feb. 4 on the streaming service.“Sweet Magnolias” takes place in the small town of Serenity, S.C., and stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher as Maddie Townsend, a divorced woman with three children.

Space Force has been cancelled by Netflix after two seasons.The streaming platform announced that the Steve Carell-led comedy series, which he co-created with The Office showrunner Greg Daniels, will not be returning for a third run of episodes.This comes just two and a half months after the release of the second season, which has received middling to negative reviews from critics.A parody of ex-president Donald Trump’s genuine desire to establish a Space Force as the sixth branch of the US military, Space Force centres on the everyday failings and absurd antics of General Mark R. Two-time Emmy winner Jeff Daniels has been tapped as the lead of A Man in Full, a six-episode limited series based on Tom Wolfe’s 1998 novel, from David E. Kelley and Regina King. Kelley serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner, with King directing three episodes and exec producing as part of her first-look deal with Netflix via her Royal Ties production company.
