Mrs Hinch, the cleaning guru whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, shared the heartbreaking news that one of her adorable pet chickens named Pam has died. The social media star recently brought out a best-selling book called Welcome to Hinch Farm after moving to her large countryside abode last year. Following the big life change, 33 year old Sophie, her husband Jamie, and their sons Ronnie and Lennie, brought a number of chickens, alpacas and other farm animals to their new abode. Sadly, despite the star's best efforts to bring a number of rescue animals to the farm and give them the best life she could, it wasn't enough for one little bird.
Posting the news on her Instagram stories, Sophie, who recently addressed the rumours she was pregnant with another baby, told her followers: "I feel so sad and shed tears. We noticed recently that one of our chickens, Pam, hadn't been as interested in joining in with Peggy or Pat, as she once was. "She hadn't seemed too keen on leaving her nesting box as often.
"But she still had a really good appetite, was eating and drinking as normal and even carried on laying eggs, so I decided to keep a close eye on her. "I'm so sad to say that she suddenly passed away," the author continued. "I know this may sound so silly because to some she's 'just a chicken,' but we rescued Peggy, Pam and Pat when they were weak, had hardly any feathers and were going to be slaughtered before the British Hen Welfare Trust saved them ready for rehoming.
"We've watched them grow into beautiful feathery hens with their own unique personalities that so clearly tell them apart. "We look after them and love them as our pets. So yes, I've been very upset, especially for the boys who love to run over to their coop
