An interview from 2002 has resurfaced and it is raising questions about what went on during the filming of That ’70s Show.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were just 14 and 19, respectively, when they had to film a kissing scene while playing love interests Jackie and Kelso on the Fox comedy series.
The two stars, who are now married in real life, spoke to Rosie O’Donnell about the scene and how Danny Masterson bet Ashton to take things a bit further.

Ashton said at the time, “They were like, ‘You guys are going to be making out in this scene.’ And I’m thinking wait, this is slightly illegal.”
Mila added, “I’ve never kissed a guy. Ashton‘s attractive, and I was a 14-year-old little girl and I was extremely scared for my life. He was very nice about it. He was like, ‘Don’t worry about it.’ Then Danny goes to him and goes, ‘Dude, I’ll give you $10 if you French kiss her.’”
Ashton confirmed the “little side bet” that he had with Danny.
“You’re kissing on the show, we’re boyfriend and girlfriend. You would use tongue. Danny bet me like 20 bucks I wouldn’t do it,” he said.
Mila said that she wouldn’t let Ashton french kiss her, but she thinks he tried.

Ashton is also facing backlash for a vulgar comment he made about Hilary Duff when she was just 15.
The resurfaced interviews come after Mila and Ashton both provided character statements in support of Danny while he was awaiting sentencing for his rape conviction.

Despite fears for the future of film in the new, seemingly disposable digital era, there are still many auteurs holding on out there in the modern movie landscape. For example, there’s Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan and even Michael Bay (for, as director Tarsem said of the latter’s work, “You may not like it, but you know who made it”). But few directors are as instantly recognizable as Wes Anderson. Nothing happens by accident in a Wes Anderson movie: the camera moves are perfectly choreographed — sideways tracking shots are a specialty — and the sets don’t even begin to aim for realism. Clothes are tailored, hair and makeup is scrutinized all the way down to lipstick and nail polish, and music is key, creating a subtle, sometimes melancholy and always wholly effective emotional backdrop.

Amid Ashton Kutcher‘s support of his former costar and convicted rapist Danny Masterson, the internet is calling out the actor for some of his own past comments — particularly those aimed towards Hilary Duff.
Mila Kunis has explained how Danny Masterson 'bet' Ashton Kutcher to 'French kiss' her during her time on That '70s Show, when she was just 14 years old. Danny Masterson was recently sentenced for raping two women, and both Ashton and Mila came under scrutiny when it was revealed they'd written letters of support.
Zack Sharf Digital News Director Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ 2002 interview on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” resurfaced on social media after the two actors apologized for writing letters of support for Danny Masterson ahead of his sentencing for rape. In the viral clip, Kunis reveals that Masterson once bet Kutcher $10 to French kiss her while filming an episode of their Fox sitcom “That ’70s Show.” The actors are light-spirited about the whole thing, but the clip has amassed over 4 million views and counting in the days after Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life for rape. “She was 14 when we started the show.
resurfaced interview, actress Mila Kunis accused Danny Masterson of daring her then-costar Ashton Kutcher to French kiss her when she was 14 while the trio filmed the hit sitcom “That ’70s Show.” The clip, which aired on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” in 2002, shows Kutcher, 45, and Kunis, 40, talking to O’Donnell about the bet he made with Masterson, 47. At the time, the script called for their characters — Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart — to be “making out” in a scene.“I’m like thinking this is slightly illegal, right,” Kutcher explained at the time. It’s then Kunis, who was still a minor at the time, chimed in claiming that her future husband was actually her first kiss.
Owen Gleiberman Chief Film Critic In 2008, the writer-director Azazel Jacobs made a small but vivid splash with “Momma’s Man,” a Sundance comedy about a troubled dweeb hiding out in the cocoon of his parents’ downtown Manhattan apartment. The parents were played by Jacobs’ own (the avant-garde filmmaker Ken Jacobs and his wife Flo), and the movie turned their overstuffed bohemian pack-rat museum of a loft into a tiny city of its own. “Momma’s Man” showed extraordinary promise, and in the 15 years since I’ve been waiting for Azazel Jacobs to make good on it.
Writer/Director Azazel Jacobs has made a couple of indie pictures I really loved. French Exit gave Michelle Pfeiffer one of her meatiest roles in years and she ran with it in a delicious Paris-set tale. He also provided Debra Winger and Tracy Letts with terrific roles in the sophisticated The Lovers. And now Jacobs shows once again he knows how to attract top actors with well-written characters in the intimate drama, His Three Daughters which stars Carrie Coon, Elizabeth Olsen, and Natasha Lyonne as a trio of sisters gathering in the New York City apartment where their father (Jay O. Sanders) is down the hall (unseen for most of the film) and near death. They have arrived to spend his final days with him, stretched out here to three, but also to renew their own dysfunctional dynamic in what could easily have been made as a play rather than a film, and feels just a bit too stagey for its own good.
