Greater Manchester is braced for strong winds when a storm hits the region tomorrow. Storm Debi is expected to cause disruption to much of northern England and Wales on Monday (November 13).
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind, which includes Greater Manchester. It is in force from 4am to 6pm on Monday.
On its website, the Met Office says: "Storm Debi has the potential to bring very strong and disruptive winds on Monday." The Met Office says people should expect the possibility of 'injuries and danger to life from flying debris'.

There could also be damage to buildings, disruption to transport, power cuts and road closures, the Met Office warns. Forecasters are currently predicting the strongest of tomorrow's winds will hit Greater Manchester in the afternoon.
The region could also see periods of heavy rain throughout the day. National Highways is warning drivers on the M6 and M62 in particular to take extra care.
