Meghan Markle shared a candid snapshot of 2-year-old son Archie during her surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Nov. 18 — and he’s the spitting image of his father, Prince Harry. The eldest child of the duke, 37, and duchess, 40, could be seen admiring chickens from a coup, woven basket in tow to gather eggs, at his family home in Montecito, California.

Meghan Markle appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Thursday to promote her children's book "The Bench," advocate for federal paid family leave in the United States and donate money to a charitable cause. While on the daytime talk show, Markle also participated in a prank in which she was listening to DeGeneres through a hidden earpiece and had to do whatever the Emmy-winner told her to do.

Meghan Markle is set to appear on the Ellen show, with the TV host posting a snippet of their chat on social media. In the short clip, Meghan and Ellen can be heard discussing the times the Duchess used to come to the same spot for acting auditions.

Meghan Markle looked the picture of Hollywood glamour last week, as she attended a gala event in New York City to celebrate Veterans Day in the US and Armistice Day in the UK alongside husband Prince Harry.

During their Remembrance Day visit to New Jersey’s Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also spent time time visiting Task Force Liberty, home to over 10,000 Afghan refugees (known as guests).

Paying tribute.  Following their outing in New York City, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted dining with several military servicemembers and their families in honor of Veterans Day.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent Nov. 11 — Remembrance Day in the U.K. and Commonwealth nations, and Veteran’s Day in the U.S. — by visiting with service members and their spouses at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey.
