Meghan Markle has ‘burned her bridges’ with Prince Charles with 'veiled threats', says royal expert

Meghan Markle has scuppered any chance of a meaningful reconciliation between her husband Prince Harry and his father Prince Charles after she took part in a tell all interview with The Cut published Monday, according to an expert. During the interview, which discussed everything from the Duchess of Sussex’s privacy fears for her children through to her relationship with her father, Meghan made reference to her choice to remain silent on certain things, but hinted that that could easily be subject to change.
“It’s interesting, I’ve never had to sign anything that restricts me from talking,” recalls the Duchess. "I can talk about my whole experience and make a choice not to.” While the vow of silence could be taken as a sign of courtesy, one royal commentator has argued it is more of a “veiled threat” that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
Speaking about the interview on Tuesday’s edition of Lorraine, the Daily Mirror’s royal commentator Russell Myers said: “She has not held back, it’s over 6,500 words this article. She sort of relays her dissatisfaction at her treatment when she was in the monarchy, it was only a couple of years.
