But the jewellery she did include in her striking ensemble was particularly sentimental.The former Suits actress, 41, opted to team her all black caped dress and elbow length gloves with a simple pair of diamond and pearl drop studs which had been gifted to her by the late monarch during an engagement they did together in 2018.The beautiful jewellery, which could be seen peeking out from Meghan's wide brimmed hat, is thought to be a smaller version of the earrings that the late Queen tended to wear every day.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been instructed to mend their rift with the Prince and Princess of Wales and apologise for comments made in their infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey, according to royal insiders. The interview is said to have “crossed the line” with Prince William and Kate Middleton feeling unable to move on until they receive an apology from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle . Royal insiders say that the pair have been told to say sorry for the interview and "acknowledge the motives behind it" ahead of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II today.

Traditionally, women in the royal family curtsy if they're seeing the monarch for the first time that day, while men usually greet the monarch with a head bow.
