Mary J. Blige just released her new album Good Morning Gorgeous and she was joined by lots of celebs to celebrate the drop!
The 51-year-old entertainer, who is performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show this weekend, hosted the part at The Classic Cat on Thursday night (February 10) in West Hollywood, Calif.
Guests included Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, Nas, Taraji P. Henson, DJ D-Nice, Ella Mai, Ne-Yo, and more. The event was sponsored by Sun Goddess Wines, Pepsi, 300 Entertainment and Amazon R&B Rotation.
While explaining the title of the album’s title track, Mary told ET, “I couldn’t give up on myself. I had to say something that was really powerful, that I didn’t even believe, to say it to myself in the morning because who looks good in the morning?”
Mary added that she was in a dark place when she began working on the album. “It was not a good place. It was created and confessed to get me out of a dark situation, and I learned confessing positive things begins to manifest,” she said.
