It's been a brilliant season for Alejandro Garnacho and Alvaro Fernandez and they have achieved yet another milestone after being added to Manchester United's first-team squad.
Despite the litany of issues on and off the pitch at Old Trafford after yet another demoralising campaign, United have remained the leading example in scouting and nurturing some of the game's most exciting talents. The exploits of the youth teams have been the one reason for optimism this year and much of that is thanks to Garnacho and Fernandez.
The pair both arrived at United in 2020 from Spain - Garnacho from Atletico Madrid and Fernandez from Real Madrid - and have continued to develop their talents in the academy. The duo have enjoyed a breakout season this term with exciting forward Garnacho particularly exciting fans.

The left-back has proven equally capable defensively as he is on the attack, with four goals and six assists to his name, and there are growing calls for him to be selected ahead of the underperforming Alex Telles. He was on the bench against Chelsea but didn't get on.
