Spence was in action on Tuesday night in a massive match in the race for promotion to the Premier League as Forest travelled down to Bournemouth. United loanee James Garner, who has enjoyed an excellent campaign in the Midlands, played the full 90 minutes of the match but his efforts weren't enough to prevent heartbreak for Forest. Garner, as he has all year, made a series of lovely passes in the middle of the park but it was right wing-back Spence who really caught the attention of United fans who tuned in for the high-stakes affair. The 21-year-old has been superb this season, notching three goals and five assists.
Spence is currently on loan from Middlesbrough but there has been growing speculation that he could earn a big-money move in the summer, with several clubs said to be interested. United are one of the sides that have been linked and, with the Londoner said to be a United fan, supporters want the club to make a move.
