The dad of a tragic twin who died after a hospital trust failed to provide basic medical care for his meningitis is warning parents about sepsis to prevent them from going through the same tragedy.

A man armed with 'bladed weapons' arrested on suspicion of kidnap after cops stormed a Greater Manchester Hospital remains in custody. He is being quizzed by detectives this morning (Wednesday) following the drama at Royal Oldham Hospital on Tuesday evening (August 30).
Greater Manchester Police said a man 'gained access to a car' outside the entrance to A&E. The force said the man was 'armed' - with 'bladed weapons' - and that he was 'detained safely' after armed response cops were scrambled to the hospital. There were no reports of injuries.
A spokesman for the force confirmed the arrested man remained in custody on Wednesday morning.
Unconfirmed reports on social media suggested the hospital was put into 'lockdown'. Hospital trust bosses are yet to comment. The Manchester Evening News has contacted the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust for further details this morning.

In a statement on Wednesday night, GMP confirmed the incident 'has been contained' and said there was no threat to the public. It followed an earlier incident at a property nearby.
Cops said they attended the hospital 'following intelligence relating to the same male'.
A witness at the hospital said she saw seven or eight police cars outside at 6.30pm. Officers were parked in the car park outside the main entrance to the hospital, she added.
The witness told the M.E.N: "I got locked in my room earlier. It was about 6pm. There were riot vans and could hear a helicopter flying over and everything, but it seemed to be over really quickly."
