The air hostess, 25, didn't have the easiest journey having entered the villa during Casa Amor, finding a connection with Mitch Taylor only for his head to turn for bombshell Ella Barnes. She went on to couple up with Scott Van Der Sluis and after awkward encounters and villa drama was officially friend-zoned, the day before she was dumped from the villa.
Abi left the villa alongside Scott after the public voted them as one of the least compatible couple and it was then up to their fellow Islanders to make the decision of which couple to send home. After being caught up with drama between Mitch who she thought she had a connection with and then Scott, it's safe to say Abi is more than over it and is "happy" to have left with "Scott as a friend". Joining the show during Casa Amor is never an easy time, but Abi proved that it can be done and said she's "pleased" to have had the "Love Island experience".
She said: "I’ve been on a journey in the Villa and I’m happy to be leaving because I didn’t find the connection I wanted, not for any other reason. I’m also happy to be leaving with Scott as a friend. "We’re friends and are going to end this experience as that.
I feel a bit disheartened and let down that there wasn’t a connection, I feel like he didn’t put enough effort into making one there. I trusted him by his words, not his actions. Abi was first coupled up with Mitch who she instantly hit it off with during Casa Amor and was the boy she had her "sights set on" before entering.
