New Manchester United signing Lisandro Martinez has been backed to help improve the performances of both Raphael Varane and club captain Harry Maguire.
The pair faced criticism for last season’s woes, with Maguire underwhelming and Varane constantly injured. Both are set to play important roles under Erik ten Hag.
