LCD Soundsystem’s Gavilán Rayna Russom Launching Label, Announces New Album

I Break Horses, the pop project led by Maria Lendén, has a new album due later this spring. It’s called Warnings, and it’s her first record in six years, following 2014’s Chiaroscuro. Listen to “Neon Lights” from the album, which arrives May 8 via Bella Union/PIAS, below.

Craig Finn, frontman for the Hold Steady, has announced a new album called All These Perfect Crosses. He’s also shared its title track. The LP was recorded during Finn’s sessions from his most recent solo album, last year’s I Need a New War. The double album arrives June 20 (via Partisan) for the recently rescheduled Record Store Day. Today (March 25) is Big Sean’s 32nd birthday, and, to celebrate, he’s revealed the title of his next album: Detroit 2. The record, which does not yet have a release date, will arrive via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings. Check out Sean’s new Detroit 2 trailer below.

Chilean hip-hop artist Ana Tijoux has announced her first studio album in six years. Antifa Dance is out later this year, and Tijoux has shared the title track and an accompanying music video, directed by Daniela López Lugo and co-starring Chilean singer-songwriter Alex Anwandter. Quelle Chris has announced a new album that features Earl Sweatshirt, billy woods, Tune-Yards’ Merrill Garbus, Denmark Vessey, Homeboy Sandman, Pink Siifu, comedian Josh Gondelman, and more. It’s called Innocent Country 2 and it arrives April 24 via Mello Music Group. He’s also shared a new track from the record, titled “LIVING HAPPY” (featuring Chicago’s Joseph Chilliams and New Orleans-based rapper Cavalier).

Jamaican reggae star Chronixx has announced his next album. Dela Splash is out later this year. Ahead of the LP, Chronixx has shared lead single “Dela Move” along with a visual directed by Nabil Elderkin, who has made music videos for the likes of Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Dua Lipa, and more. Composer, artist, and producer Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith is back with a new album called The Mosaic of Transformation. It’s out May 15 via Ghostly. Cenizas, which follows Jaar’s 2016 album Sirens and February’s Against All Logic record 2017 – 2019, is out March 27 via Other People. Margo Price has announced her new album That’s How Rumors Get Started. The All American Made follow-up was produced by Sturgill Simpson and co-produced by Price and David Ferguson.
