Kevin Feige Says “Streaming Is 100% The Future” & Isn’t Worried About Long Wait Between Marvel Releases

The ongoing pandemic has caused major shutdowns and delays in both production and release for many big film projects. We didn’t get a single Marvel film in 2020, even if they now plan to release four new films as well as several TV shows in 2021, but according to Marvel Studios head honcho, Kevin Feige, Phase Four of the MCU has not been affected by the pandemic.

Sources tell Deadline Waldron has been set to write a new Star Wars feature film that Kevin Feige, President, Marvel Studios and Chief Creative Officer, Marvel, will develop and produce for Lucasfilm and Disney.

Including the just-released “Soul,” over the past decade, Pixar has released 13 feature films. And of those 13 features, more than half of them (seven to be exact) are sequels.
